Lo scorso autunno, l’attrice ed ex scientologista Leah Remini ha annunciato che la sua unica figlia, Sofia Bella Pagan, si era recentemente iscritta al college. Sfortunatamente, questo traguardo è stato incredibilmente difficile per la star di “King of Queens”. “Portare il nostro unico figlio al college per la prima volta è stato il momento più dolorosamente doloroso e più orgoglioso della mia vita”, ha scritto Remini su Instagram. “Non ho mai pianto così tanto in vita mia… È la cosa più difficile che abbia mai fatto, e mi sto ancora torturando con l’idea che avrei potuto spingere mia figlia sulla pista del college perché non sono mai riuscita ad andare quando avevo la sua età». Remini ha anche rivelato che lei e suo marito non volevano diventare nidificanti vuoti.
Remini echoed similar sentiments early in the year after Pagan attended her senior prom. “Last night was Sofia’s senior prom,” shared Remini on Instagram (via Today). “Senior year is filled with exciting milestones but it doesn’t make it any less sad for parents when we wonder how time flew by so fast. Angelo and I couldn’t be prouder of the young woman Sofia is becoming. But I need this process to slow down.” Unfortunately, Pagan’s recent life choices have completely stripped Remini of that possibility and it has her feeling sentimental.
